iPhone sim switch

If I buy a new iPhone 11 and take a SIM card out of my iPhone 6s and put it in the 11. Will my phone still work that same with my phone carrier and everything ?

Yeah, the carrier and phone number should be the same if you got an unlocked iPhone or an iPhone locked to the same carrier.
