Fat fingers need a bigger virtual keyboard

I have an iPhone XR and fat fingers, every time I try to type the keyboard is too small to be accurate. Frustrating. My phone orientation is not locked, but at least some apps don't reorient to landscape anyway. Is there to increase the key size my virtual keyboard? I looked at accessibility and couldn't see an obvious answer.
