I downloaded Catalina for my iMac and when I get about 10 minutes into the install, it says that my download is broken and I need to redownload and then try installing again. I'm not sure how to go about doing that.
Look in the Applications folder and see if the installer is located there, if it is then drag to the Trash and then empty the Trash.

Could you let me know if you manage to do this please? I need to re-install back to my old OS but it wont let me move it from Applications to the trash ;(

Yeah, it worked for me. I think if the OS system is already installed on your computer, you have to restore to a backup.
