Use external microphone and stream video back to OBS on Mac for live streaming

I have a Shure MV88 which has made a huge difference in the sound of our live band. It plugs directly into the lightning jack. I currently stream to Facebook live from my iPhone, but would like to stream the video into OBS so I can control the scenes going to Facebook live while still using the external microphone. Is there any adapter that would allow me to do this? Or is there another option to accomplish this?

iPhone 11, iOS 13

Greetings, Izzi-B.

I see that you're wanting to use OBS studio on your computer. You'd like to know if you need any special cables or adapters to connect your Shure MV88 microphone to your computer, and I'm glad to help with this.

Using MV88+ with your Mac and PC -- This page of Shure's User Guide doesn't show that there's any special need. But also states that a USB-A cable isn't included.

About USB on Mac computers -- If you're using a Mac that has a USB-A port, you may need a USB-A cable since the microphone doesn't come with one.

Take care.
