At the Apple Store, a tech applied a set amount from my Apple Gift Card onto my iCloud storage plan but Apple just sent me a message that that’s been used up. I went into Settings > App Store > Payment and do not see any field which will accept that. I was on hold with Apple for 15 minutes. How is this done?

You would need to redeem a Gift Card so that you have a credit balance on your account.

Then use that credit balance to pay for the storage.

You will need an answer directly from Apple on that. I'm not aware of only redeeming a portion of a gift card.

Thank you. After posting my question, I did find that link. Didn’t follow it because my gift card balance is hundreds of dollars and I don’t know whether I’ll be given the option to use only some of it there, or whether I’d be able to transfer out any excess amount that I did redeem there. So, those are my new questions.
