New iPad setup
ipad set updid not allow me to download settings from old iPad as the new iPad was shipped with an older iOS. How do I now convert this to my old iPad?

Update the iPad to the newest OS version first, then restore from the previous iPad’s backup (assuming it was not overwritten, which it shouldn’t have been). Whatever you did since that backup will be lost, unless it’s synced to iCloud.
