Searched for "dosdude" and "dosdude high Sierra" and both reported zero results. But thanks for the suggestion.

Both of these versions state that they are damaged. Please help, as we would like to download High Sierra.

Wish that would work on my system. have a mac mini I bought in July (using Mac Catalina), and when I try to download the file, i just get "update not found". Have been trying to get the ISO to use in a virtual machine (its the last my adobe CC 5.0 supports).

To get around, I have been trying to use my copy of snow leopard sever (used for games), then upgrading from the store there, but the networking is broken. oh well.....

Its too bad there is no direct link like windows store has (though I understand why they do not).

Were you able to get everything working as you wanted with the High Sierra download ?  If not, earlier on in this thread on Sep 6, 2020 at 11:34, user Eau Rouge provided detailed instructions that I had used to download an up-to-date copy of High Sierra from Apple.  

On a side note, should the situation arise for you where you would need to rebuild a Mac from scratch, as was my case, you can create a bootable installer on a thumb drive which you can then use to recreate the OS.  The following link discusses this process.
