My internet signal isn't always great, particularly at busy times - I'd like to be able to download so I can be sure of nothing interrupting my film.
App store says Prime is only available on tablet
This site is offering just what I need.
I think I've already worked out it's not an Apple website. Does anyone know anything about it (or if the Prime app will do what I want?

That is an extremely common "download aggregator" site no different than many others. Do not patronize it or even encourage its existence.

Anything to do with apple is going to be apple.com domain name.

Not a surprise it isn't Apple. They're also charging for multiple titles that are free. Such as Adblock for $2.99. How about the user just go to Adblock's site and get it themselves for nothing?
Microsoft Office for $4.99? What are you getting for that? The same download you can get from MS for nothing? You'd still need to pay MS to activate it either way.
What the heck is Amazon for Mac, or eBay for Mac, both at $2.99? I'm pretty darn sure I can go to either site myself for free.

I wanted to be able to download to my mac (rather than stream) as you can on a tablet/app. It nearly fooled me (and I'm fairly savvy to this sort of thing) Thanks to yours and other's answers it's now documented.
