Amazon Shopping

I can't find a basic Amazon Prime app on the App Store for my MacBook Pro. Only a Prime Video app is there. We only watch Amazon Prime movies, etc, on our smartTV, not the laptop. I've got both the Prime Video and Amazon Smile on my iPads where they are easy to open and shop or peruse.

Can I get the Smile app on my MacBook's desktop, so I don't have to go through Safari to get there? No big deal, but one would think a more direct route desktop app would be available by now.

There is no Amazon app for the Mac.
