THE IPHONE DOESN'T RING WHEN I RECEIVE THE CALLS

I GOT A PROBLEM WITH MY IPHONE X R IT HAPPEN THAT SOMEONE CALLED ME AND THE BELL IS NOT RINGING I CHECKED THE VOLUME BUT IT'S REGULAR HIGH AND I TRIED TO SEE IN THE APPLICATIONS BUT IS NOT IN THE MODALITY USE IN PLANE AND THAT'S CORRECT , SOMEONE CAN HELP ME? THANKS

I see your caps lock is broken also. Please don’t post in all capital letters; it is harder to read, and is considered to be shouting and is thus rude.


Things to check:

  • The MUTE switch on the side of the phone above the volume buttons - it should be towards the screen
  • Settings/Do not Disturb - Both the main switch at the top should be off, and the Scheduled should be off. You can check the status of DND by opening the Control Center; if it is on there will be a crescent moon in the top status bar.
  • Settings/Sounds & Haptics - make sure there is a ringtone assigned to the phone

There are multiple reasons when the phone may not ring, some of them are listed below. Take action appropriately.

Dear Mr Finch, I'm thanking you for your kindly answer, as you told me to check the left button on the left side of my iphone I tried my solution, in effect I turn down the little level up on the volume button putting my phone in silence.it was enough to switch it in the right position. Thanks a lot for your help. Have a nice day, greetings from Italy.
