Facetime Audio bar cannot be minimized or moved

I've seen lots of dialogue on this topic, no solutions. When I receive a phone call I like to answer and talk through my MacBook. However, the FaceTime audio bar, which shows the caller, call time, end, mute, etc... Cannot be moved. It blocks the windows behind it.

I've seen threads going back to 2016 about this issue and no resolution. Anyone have any ideas?

Greetings, Cutter125.

I see that you're unable to answer a FaceTime call on your MacBook. When one comes in, the bar including the call information can't be moved. I'm glad to help with this.

How to use safe mode on your Mac -- Restart your Mac in safe mode. Once you've logged into your user account, see if FaceTime works as expected.

How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac -- If the issue still happens, create and test a new user account. This will demonstrate if the issue is isolated to your account, or if it's system wide. You'll need to activate FaceTime in this new account to test.

Let me know how that goes.

Take care.
