Rather than rattle of a ton of explanations, here's what I'm looking for: I want a case that is always plugged into the iPhone 11 via USB-C port and the case would then allow me to fast charge while also using a headphone jack.
Do they exist, and if not, why? Thanks!

I do not know of any case that does what you want.
I appreciate that Belkin has this option. However, it is not a case. This dongle is the cell phone equivalent of the fanny pack. I prefer not to have something just hanging out like that when it can get bent/broken and lost. Having something like a cell phone case (the way the old Mophie cases used to work) is that not only is everything tucked in and out of the way, it's well attached to my phone and it saves from wearing out the phone's Thunderbolt input by repeatedly inserting and removing the cable. If the case input wears out, it's cheaper to replace that than the phone.
It just occurred to me that while the new iPad Pro uses USB-C, iPhone 11/Pro is still using lightning. Why that is the case is beyond me, but my question stands only lightning instead.
