The Finder Application For MacBook Pro

Recently (as of today) when I open my finder application it tries to shrink away, back into the toolbar. I assume that I may be clicking the icon twice but the delay between my click and the window opening must be growing longer as I have never had this happen before. Even as I type this I notice that the keys are not responding as quickly as previously... I have not used up the storage space on my Mac nor do have a particularly troublesome one either A.K.A. never needed to ask youtube how to fix it ;-). Is my Mac just suffering from a lack of shut-down time or is this more serious?

Thanks

Well if you haven't shut down your mac for some time then you should, it is always good to shut it down as it will clear

to some caches as it does. So do a full shut down, and then restart your mac and see if it makes any difference.
