In the past I have deleted games from my IPad but they appear to remain on the cloud - thus using up storage.
Is there any way that I can delete them completely from the cloud (since I have no wish to play them ever again and thus I can free up more of my storage space on the cloud?

Apps on iCloud do not take up your storage space.
You can hide those apps but you are not allowed to delete them.
