Hard reset

My iPad is on but the screen is black and I know I need to do a hard reset but I don’t want to lose my photos is there anyway I can’t lose my photos and make my iPad work again and can I make it work without losing my photos and doing a hard reset if not is there just a way I can do it without losing my photos because I have some photos that none of my family has. Thanks for your time

Start here, If your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch won't turn on or is frozen - Apple Support Performing a force restart will not affect your data content.

You're welcome. If you are concerned about the photos, now is the time to ensure you are backing up regularly, and also see about archiving the photos on the computer for safe keeping.
