Macbook pro 16 hissing sound

Hi i just got my macbook pro 16 inch last week and since i had it, the laptop has been heating up rather quickly with just some light browsing like netflix or just reading my emails . And whenever I put my mac to sleep and charge it, a loud hissing sound coming out from i presume its the fans ramming up and my mac just turns on by itself even though the screen is down.

Anyone has any solution or faces similar problems? I am a new macbook user and should this 'issues' be a concern or is it just normal ? Btw i am using a i9 , 16gb of ram and 1TB storage.

Hello growip,

Congratulations on your new MacBook Pro! It's my understanding that your Mac has been getting warmer than expected, hissing, and unexpectedly powering on. I know any issue on a new device can be concerning. I'm happy to help.

Please review the following resources for steps to manage your Mac temperature and determine which apps could be impacting the fans.
