Every file I open with preview says "The file is damaged please move to the bin". It's new MacBook Air 2020 and I cannot open my university files.What should I do to open the files?

Assuming they are PDF files, try Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

Check in System Preferences > Profiles (if you have that item) and delete any Profiles you do not recognize.

Yes! It works now! Thanks a lot! I mainly use pdf, word , excel documents. Probably Adobe Acrobat will allow me to open them from now on. (I hope so)
