The App Store
I downloaded an app from the App Store. I them uninstalled the app. When I reinstalled the app, it didn’t ask me for Touch ID or my Apple ID password. Why is this?

If you haven't already purchased an app, regardless of the price, you'll need to authenticate. However, if you've already installed the app before, you don't need to authenticate.
