Apple don’t offer iPad repairs, but where available, they often offer an exchange for a reconditioned device of the same model and specification. Cost is reportedly typically in the region of 60% of the “as new” price.
Since this iPad is long out of warranty and Apple only offers replacement, refurbished devices at an out of warranty cost cost of 60% of that iPad’s original price for an identical, over 5-year old device, your money maybe better spent toward getting another more recent iPad as new or refurbished from Apple or Apple authorised third party resellers.
