imovie catalina

Since I upgraded to Catalina 10.15.4 I can't work on iMovie.

it says : "There is not enough disk space available at the selected destination. Please choose another one or clear some space." I have plenty of disk space and I found out from friends its a problem with the version of Catalina. Is the new supplementary update supposed to solve it ?

Thank you.

Many users have reported the "not

enough disk space" issue. Fortunately, it is easily solved by

re-downloading iMovie. To do that, drag your iMovie app from the Applications

folder to the Trash, but don't empty the trash. Then sign in at the app store

and open your account by clicking on your name at the bottom of the app store

sidebar. You then will see a list of your purchases. iMovie will be one of

them. You can download it from there. If for some reason a re-download is

unavailable or unsuccessful, drag your old iMovie app out of the trash and

replace it in the Applications folder. If the re-download is successful, and it

should be, you can empty the trash of your old iMovie app.
