messages missing

picked up my phone this morning and my messages are gone. My husband sent me a message that popped up on my screen, but doesn't show up in my messages.

Fix text I am all do a sudden getting a message from my Iphone that all conversations on other devices will be deleted permanently. When it use to jus remove from phone and I had them all saved on my iPad. Can someone please help. I lost years of saved messages.
