Unable to find macos High Sierra download link in apple.com site

Inherited an iMacPro mid2011 with MacOS Yosemited, for which the apple website indicates that High Sierra is the highest macos version that can be installed. Unable to find it in the App Store, which directs you to Catalina and does not show an option to find High Sierra. From this link

https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/61705/macos-high-sierra

which states:

"The best way to download Mac OS X High Sierra is via a direct link

download. This is primarily because Apple has hidden the installer from

the Mac App Store. This means that users that search for the installer

will not find anything if they have a newer version of Mac OS. Users can

download the app via a direct link and then install it that way."

Where can I find this "direct link"? Other websites that have a link to download High Sierra open a page "Connecting to the Mac App Store" and then a small pop-up "Select Application" in which iTunes is selected. Click on Open Link and get a message "Item Not Available - The item you've requested is not currently available in the U.S. store."

Thank you

iMac Pro

Open the Terminal in the Utilities folder. Copy and paste the following command line at the Terminal's prompt:

sudo softwareupdate --fetch-full-installer --full-installer-version 10.13.6

Press RETURN. Enter your Admin password at the prompt. It will not echo back to the Terminal window. Press RETURN again. After the download succeeds, I would put a copy of the installer in your Downloads folder for safekeeping.

Thank you macjack. No we're on to something. Switched to Safari, got the the High Sierra page in the App Store

Click on Get: window to sign in to App Store

Click Sign-in: get "Unknown error" with an option to click Sing In again

Click Sign-in again: "We could not complete your request. There was an error in the App Store. Please try again later."

Thank you again. One step closer. At least now I can find the High Sierra download page
