apple camera connection kit
is the usb out on the apple camera connection kit (cck3) supplying 5v out on usb in the same way as normal usb out's for eg on a laptop or computer? thanks.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities, and I understand you want t know about the wattage output of an adapter. I'll explain.
The adapter only facilitates the power connection to the device and wouldn't determine the voltage or wattage given to your device. The power adapter or computer will determine the wattage/voltage to output. As long as the device itself is charging, the adapter should as intended: Lightning to USB 3 Camera Adapter
