Hi, my AppleTV stops, displays a black screen, then a second or two later resumes, displaying the resolution in the top right hand corner. This happens when I am streaming music, watching a film etc. It is also annoyingly random. Any ideas on how i can track the cause?
Broadband speed is 40mbits. My ApplyTV is connected via Airport Extreme bridged via Ethernet to my BT Hub
Try using another HDMI cable, test on another port. Reboot ATV and router. If possible test on another TV. As a last measure try a restore.
