My iPhone 11 Pro Max has recently started making a rattling noise when vibrating, even from haptic touches on screen, and I’m not sure what would cause that? It has also started routinely disconnecting from CarPlay in my Chevrolet recently. Any help?

The Rattling noise that you described above is more concern rather than performance of CarPlay in your Chevy.
Your iPhone is less than one year old and it is still covered by Apple's 1YR Limited Warranty. I recommend that you have it examined at an Apple Store or an authorized repair center.
