Apple TV configuration issue

Trying to use my Apple TV after a while. Turned it on, connected to the new wireless network, and all is ok till then.

when I try to login, the iPhone prompts me with a verification code to enter in the Apple TV. Where do I enter this code?

Meanwhile, the console in Apple TV says my password is wrong.

pls help to resolve.

When using 2 factor authentication on an older Apple TV you need to enter the password and code together. In order to stay within the time limit you will need to enter the password, then manually request the code and add it to the end of the password.
