I've purchased a new iPad Air 10.5 to replace an old iPad Air 2. Fully backed up the old one to my desktop. I want the restore to the new one, but with a different Apple ID. Any tricks that I should know about?

Adding a new iPad When adding a new iPad the process is to have the new IPad replace my existing iPad. I still want to use my older iPad. If I transfer my existing information to the new iPad, how does my Apple account now view my old iPad? Can I run both using the same data? Do I have yo set up a different password for the older iPad??

Yeah,

This is not going to be possible.

Everything that was on your iPad Air 2 was tied to your previous Apple ID and will not restore to another iPad with a different Apple ID.
