Apple TV+ Free Trial

Dear Whomever it concerns:

I was going through all my Apple app subscriptions and canceling auto renewals (as we need to be frugal in a pandemic). Among them was Apple TV+. I did not realize that canceling this auto-subscription alone (only this subscription among multitudes) ends access immediately. All others continue to allow access until the current period expires (whether paid or free trial).

I had until Jan 2021 (9 months) remaining on the Apple TV+ free trial. Is there anyway to reactivate this?

It is well documented that the trial will also end immediately when the subscription is cancelled and it also reminds a user of this before confirming cancellation. This is an extended trial offer and the terms for cancellation do differ between providers. The terms also state here that a trial cannot be reactivated once cancelled. You are free to contact Apple but it is within their discretion as to whether an exception is granted.
