AirPod pro clicking/crackling sound.
Yesterday, my AirPods Pro started making this weird clicking sound whenever I moved around while the AirPods were in noise cancellation mode or transparency mode. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I've had this issue multiple times now. I've had my right AirPod replaced twice and my left one once. The issue is now back. I opened a case today and they are totally aware of it. My work around is to use them in "off" mode until engineering comes up with a solution? Kind of ridiculous. Hopefully it's a software issue they're able to resolve.
My right airpod pro is also making a static noise when in transparency mode and noice cancellation. Waste of time calling apple support. I have tried repairing multiple times with no success as that was their only suggestion. So after being on the phone for 1hr and 2 minutes the resolution was that they would send me replacements for $190. What BS. This problem is well known and a company with this profit margin will not admit fault? My best suggestion would be, dont buy this expensive product. With insurance they would have been well over $300. I didn’t purchase insurance as I am gentle with my electronics. Shame in apple!
Yea this has been occurring for me too, my airpods will make this really annoying crackling sound. Very distracting and annoying.
Mine seems to be happening even out of ANC. Could this whole issue be due to the new 2C54 software? This noise is intermittent.
I had this issue with my right airpod pro. Called apple and tried to reset the airpods in the case. It didn't help so they replaced only the right airpod pro. The day I received my right airpod pro the left one started clicking/crackling. Same process with apple and once the reset didn't fix the issue they mailed me a left airpod pro. You may see lots off people say this is due to a software update with the ANC, but I believe this is a latent hardware failure. If you turn your ANC off completely per the picture below the clicking/crackling is gone so it has something to do with the ANC failing. I have a gut feeling my replacement pods will fail eventually and I will have to go through this process again. My suggestion is check to see if you turn off ANC and the issue is gone but call apple support regardless to troubleshoot.
