My macbook in not starting

When I start my MacBook Air it asks for password and after entering that the home page appears as it should be but after this the touch pad and key board does not work at all. So as a result I can not use my MacBook at all. So what to do to solve this problem ?

Please determine if you are able to log in and use your Mac in "Safe Mode": Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac.


Then, restart your Mac normally, assuming you can. If you can't, force it to shut down by pressing and holding its power button until it shuts down.
