I have used Gmail since December 2012 with no problems. My current machine is a MacBook Pro 13-inch 2017 8 GB.
Today after installing macOS Catalina (10.15.4), I can not send emails. Here is the scary notice:
I did not click on Allow.
And again in Menu Bar > Notifications:
My Mail version is:

It is not scary at all, and quite normal... in fact it proves that security is working.
If this is your account, and you want to use it with your mac, then you should respond in the affirmative.
