How to fix an Ipad 5?

Good afternoon,

I have a problem going on with my son ipad! i just recently replaced it before all the virus outbreak! Just a couple weeks ago the ipad froze on me. So, I thought I was doing the right thing by resetting it. It starts to turn on like its ready to power up and then cuts off and goes black to the white blank apple screen. So, the other night I plugged the Ipad on to my laptop so I could see what was going on. I noticed that it would just go to the black battery screen then flash the battary picture while it was plugged up to my laptop. So, just to make sure it was my charger cord I plugged a brand new charger into the Ipad.... I got nothing but the black screen flashing the battery. I have apple care on this Ipad and I aslo replaced the same Ipad back in like march because once again it wouldn't charge! I wanna fix the Ipad so I need help requesting box so I can send the Ipad off.....
