would anyone know if a phone “remanufactured by Asurion” or “refurbished by Asurion” is made with certified Apple parts?
“remanufactured by Asurion” is actually printed on the back of the phone. The phone looks perfect just wasn’t sure if it was “safe” to buy from a third party.
I suspect those phones have used parts, which may or may not be "certified Apple parts." It's also possible this phone won't be eligible for repairs by Apple.
If you want a refurbished phone, get one from Apple directly.

Since Asurion is a contractor with Apple for their theft and loss program for iPhones I would guess that they, or the contractor they use, does have access to Apple parts. But the warranty is through Asurion not Apple.
