iPhone XS Max froze or something. It won't turn off either.

My iPhone XS Max froze or something it doesn't show any apps everything is all blurry on unlock screen.

But locked screen isn't blurry but I still can't click on any notification. I can't even turn it off no matter how long I hold the volume and power button. Theres so much I have to do and can't because my apple device is unreliable. Whats worse is that its a replacement for my lost stolen iPhone and they sent this bad device, I already payed enough getting this replacement under the warranty now they will want more just to fix their issue.

But what concerns me the MOST is that all my passwords are stored in my phone including my Apple ID password that I don't remember!!!!

Can my Apple ID password be stored in Keychain too?

Also I was able to get my phone back to functional after I let it die for a few hours. I then plugged it back in and waited for it to give me the dead red battery symbol at that point I was pretty sure that it was going to return back to normal.

Thank the Lord God because I had not backed up my phone in over two weeks!

If you have stored your password on iCloud KeyChain then there is nothing to worry.

  • You still see a black screen after charging, force restarting, following the steps in this article.
  • You see a black screen, but you can hear alerts, sounds, and vibrations.
  • The screen remains black, but the device chirps when you unmute it and connect it to power.
  • Your screen is on, but it doesn't respond when you tap, slide, or try other gestures.
  • You can't force your device to restart because a button is broken or stuck.
  • Your device is stuck on the Apple logo, displays a solid color, or isn't recognized in iTunes.
