Apple Music unable to import some cd's

Hi everyone,

I recently bought a new external cd drive for my MacBook Pro (macOS Catalina). I wanted to rip some of my cd's. It worked just fine with some, yet, with a couple of them he has problems. The Music app (as well as my Macbook) recognises the cd and the songs on it, yet the importing doesn't happen. The circle icon in front of the track name that indicates it's importing, just keeps turning. After a really long time he goes to the next song. The tracks are eventually added to iTunes (Music app) yet seem like hollow files. They don't play and are skipped by iTunes immediately.

The cd's in itself are in perfect condition, not scratched at all.

As mentioned: Some cd's work just fine, so the problem doesn't seem to be the external cd drive.

Any help is much appreciated.
