Left airpod working at certain angle

So i got my airpods at the end of April last year. Around September the left one got awfully quiet. I tried everything to fix it but to no avail. When I'm listening to music and i look behind me the left airpod starts to work normally again. This is highly annoying and was wondering if this has happened to anyone else and if so how did you fix it?
