Podcast

I am doing what the internet says but I can't seem to get podcasts to download onto my Apple Watch. I have my Watch connected to charge and am selecting custom on my phone. Am I missing something?

Personally, I think Overcast is a better Apple Watch podcast app. Easier to get postcasts to the Apple Watch, easier to manage them while on the Apple Watch.

Overcast is available via the App Store.

Unfortunately the instructions listed on the site is what I'm following. Still takes hours to update. It's as if there's a glitch in the software. Not sure if there's any workaround.
