iphone xs max crashed and cant restore

I was using my iPhone and it crashed had to do a restore (press volume up and volume down and power till apple icon came on) but now plugging into iTunes it will not restore just stuck on verifying iPhone restore with apple... I am not sure what to do or if I can do anything also I noticed on the iTunes page for my phone I have a serial number before I start but then now its verifying serial number says n/a.

Any and all help will be greatly received I am lost.

If not, take a moment to give them a try and let me know what you find. I'd also suggest reviewing this information: Resolve issues between iTunes for Windows and third-party security software

If you're experiencing the same results after using those steps, are you able to try restoring using a different computer?

If you continue to have trouble, please provide the following details:

Are you using a Mac or PC?

Which macOS or Windows version are you using?

Are you able to successfully connect to the iTunes Store using iTunes?

Hi there apologies.

I am using windows 10 pro 64bit and I am signed In to iTunes with no problems.

My phone is stuck on restore setting when I try to restore on iTunes it has the apple logo and a white line under but doesn't go off saying verifying iPhone restore with apple...

I have tried everything suggested tried several times on my pc and several times on my laptop and does exactly the same thing, I think I will have to wait until the madness of covid-19 has finished and take it to the professionals see if they can do anything with it, Luckily I have my old iPhone 7 plus as stand in so at least I have a phone.
