Verifying iPad restore

Hi. I turn my iPad into recovery mode and connected with iTunes on Windows. Then I clicked restore and the software is downloaded. And then it says extracting software and the final step verifying iPad restore. It gets stuck on that stage. On iPad there’s progress bar but nothing is going on and on iTunes it’s still verifying. I’ve been waiting for about an hour now.
