I'm trying to upgrade to Mojave but can't find it anywhere, only catalina is available and that will break some sw that I have. Does anyone have any pointers? Thanks

That link shared directly from the Mac App Store, also works for me: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/macos-mojave/id1398502828?mt=12

I found the issue, When using firefox the link to the appstore gets corrupted - when I used safari it worked
Note, you need Mountain Lion through High Sierra to install Mojave. Can't install on it on something newer.
Also if your Mac shipped with Mojave, you'll need to use command-option-shift-r on startup to install it on a separate partition from Catalina.
Please specify you mac model, maybe it is not compatible with Mojave if it is an old model.
Will the link function if you try High Sierra? Get macOS High Sierra
How to upgrade to macOS High Sierra - Apple Support
It seems the link from the apple site works for some people but not for others. It may be OS version dependent. Is there anyone using Sierra that can test the link: hthttps://apps.apple.com/us/app/macos-mojave/id1398502828?mt=12.
Thanks
The recovery option looks as though it either install what I have or try to get me to the latest compatible version. If I install Catalina some important sw I have won't work. So I am a little nervous about this option.
When I click that link it asks me if I want to use Itunes to open it.
1) I have used Itunes and it comes up with
"Item Not Available
The item you are requesting is not available in the US store"
2) If I choose the app store to open the link the app store opens up and doesn't bring up anything.
3) If I search for macOS Mojave I only see Catalina
That is what I originally did - it doesn't work
It is a Macbook Pro 15" retina mid 2012, its on the compatibility list, maxxed out on RAM and storage.

Please explain "it doesn't work."
I'm currently using Sierra 10.12.6
Sorry for lack of detail. The link brings opens itunes/store where it states that the link is no longer available on the US store
