i have 2 homes, one permanent and 1 vacation. do i need a separate apple tv device for my 2nd home? if not how do i make it work?

I take my Apple TV when I go on vacation. I simply have to connect it to the network in the new location and if I'm in a different country than my home I know I'm only going to get the content available in that country. Otherwise, it works fine. I've been doing this for years.

I recently took a trip to another country and my subscriptions worked fine in the second country. This is ONLY because the second county offers the same subscriptions as the US and of course I was using the same Apple ID.

The subscriptions would be tied to the Apple ID, there would only be a difference if travelling to another country.

The only way to make that work would be to disconnect it from your home TV and take it with you to connect in the vacation residence. Otherwise, you would need to have separate Apple TV's.
