Low Volume

Today I have noticed that my volume is extremely low on various websites and apps that I am trying to use. It was fine yesterday and now I can barely hear anything including playback recordings and livestreams. I have the volume up at it's highest level, but still can not hear. Any advice or help on how to correct?

Could be re-set of NVRAM (PRAM) may help.
