Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference to kick off June 10 at 10 a.m. PDT with Keynote address

The Keynote will be available to stream on apple.com, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app, and the Apple YouTube channel. On-demand playback will be available after the conclusion of the stream.

Can't Stream Media Until I Reset

I'm having a strange problem with streaming. Everything works fine on my Mac. Then, after a certain period of time, I can't stream audio or video from apps (Spotify, Podcasts) or browsers (YouTube, Soundcloud). I'm not sure what triggers it, but the approximate amount of time it takes before streaming stops is usually a few hours. When I reset my computer everything is back to normal, until it happens again. Internet browsing in general is fine and the speed is fast.

I initially thought it may have been a router issue, but I have a few things connected to the router, including another laptop, and there is no streaming issue.

Someone has suggested to me that I should reinstall the OS. If I do that will I lose any of the things currently on my hard drive?

Boot into Recovery (Command R) and from the dropdown menu: Utilities>  Disk Utility> run the First Aid on your Macintosh HD (and the "Macintosh HD-Data" volume as well if Catalina) If errors are found and repaired, run again until no errors reported.

Recovery: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204904

To trouble shoot further you can:

Try a SafeBoot https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201262

Takes noticeable longer to get to the login screen, does a 5-15 minute disk repair before it fully boots up, and certain system caches get cleared and rebuilt, including dynamic loader cache, etc. Login and test. Reboot and test as caches get rebuilt.

This test will tell you if third party interference; extensions etc are not loaded in safe boot mode.

Test issue in another user (or guest user) account  https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204443

This will tell you if it a universal issue or isolated to your user/admin account.

If no progress or resolve—

To get a good look at your System config. for conflicts or issues, you can download/run this trusted utility https://etrecheck.com

If you need help interpreting the report you can post it here in its entirety in the "Additional Text" box in the editing toolbar below, in your reply.

You can set its preference to "Allow full Disk Access", with this you get a digest of issues from the last 7 days that are saved in your system. _No_ personal information is revealed.
