I would like to "double" two video tracks on top of each other. Can this be done?

The effect to which I am referring happens at the 40 second mark, when the singers face appears in addition to the original video.

iMovie does not have an editing setting which would achieve this. You can see the different video effects, and effects which can be done with multiple clips in the iMovie Help guide here: Add video effects - iMovie Help.
