If your 10.5 iPad Pro works normally, without this case, then the fault lies with case and the case design.
Something with the case/case design is making your iPad malfunction.
After reading the reviews of this case, I strongly believe and I am convinced it could be the extra strong magnets in the smart cover causing the issues AND/OR the non-breathable, at all, very hard plastic of the backcase.
iPads need to “breathe” and be able to vent out some of their generated heat.
If you just purchased this case, I would just return this case and look for something different and better and a little more expensive that has some heat dissipation, “breathe-ability”.
I you want to spend good money on a great case for any iPad, look at cases from ZUGUcase.
I own one for all my iPads and they are very well made, designed, durable, protective and breathable cases.
