Hello, markdonald30.

I understand that your Apple Watch Series 5 has occasionally unexpectedly restarted. I am glad you took the time to post and happy to look into this with you.

In some cases, what might be happening, is that the Digital Crown of the Apple Watch may be accidentally depressed, causing the device to activate Siri or restart.

How to use your Apple Watch

There may be a software issue at play here. Are both your Apple Watch and iPhone up-to-date? It is always a good idea to back up your devices before an update.

If you are already up-to-date, the next step would be to Unpair and erase your Apple Watch. Then, set it up again. If the issue continues to occur, you will want to perform this step again and set it up as a new device. In some instances, whatever is causing the issue, may live in your backup.

I hope this helps.
