See
”To use Group FaceTime video calls, you need iOS 12.1.4 or later, or iPadOS on one of these devices: iPhone 6s or later, iPad Pro or later, iPad Air 2 or later, iPad mini 4 or later, iPad (5th generation) or later, or iPod touch (7th generation). Earlier models of iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch that support iOS 12.1.4 can join Group FaceTime calls as audio participants.”
Ok, it looks like I have an iPad mini 2, although software version is 12.4.5
Thanks
You’re quite welcome.
I have iPad mini iOS 13.3.1, i can’t do a Group FaceTime.
See the note above for compatible iPads.
Yes, I saw that I have iPad mini 4 and version 13.3.1.
it seems like I could do it via messenger. But not FaceTime. Do participants need the correct iOS versions and hardware?
