Maintain open safari panels

How can I keep the panels of safari open on IPad ?

when I open multiple ones , then I go to another app for a while, when I come back to safari I find all the panels closed and I have to begin again my searches.

how can I avoid this ?

I presume that you have updated your iPad to iPadOS 13.4.1 - this being the most recent version.
