Activation help

Hello,

The iPad is locked with Activation Lock. There is no way around unlocking Activation Lock without inserting the device’s associated Apple ID. Most likely if they refuse to contact you back then there is a good chance that you purchased a stolen iPad. There is nothing you, or Apple, can do to unlock this iPad. You have 2 options, return the iPad for a refund or recycle the iPad.

As the device is clearly Activation Locked to the previous owners AppleID, unless you can secure his cooperation to remove the Lock, you’ll not be able to bypass or defeat it. The Activation Lock is designed to protect the data of the user - and acts as a theft deterrent.

Whilst the Activation Lock is active, the iPad is useless to you or anyone else. Your only option is to responsibly recycle the device.

Sorry, but nobody here can help you - and unless you have documentation to prove that you are the original owner, Apple will not assist you.
