Number of Ports in Activity Monitor

"WindowServer" & "logd" under "launchd" are showing a number of ports exponentially larger than all of the rest listed (2,881 total). Is this indicative of some kind of problem or even an intrusion? Spyware? Nothing to worry about? Anyone able to shed some light on a potential cause of this?

How to find which process used a port? Possible Trojan. I got this warning on my router: Threat A Network Trojan was Detected. Signature ET MALWARE Suspicious User Agent (Autoupdate). Has anyone had the experience of one of the Thunderbolt/USB ports ceasing to function with no apparent cause? Using Big Sur 11.6, my MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2016, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) has one port that no longer functions. Have you found a solution to correct this beyond having to take it the the Genius Bar for service?

These are Not network ports.

macOS is built on top of the Carnage Mellon MACH kernel, and processes talk to the MACH micro kernel and between each other using 'ports'.
